Dental Hygienists May Place Additional Restorative Materials

In 2019 the Oregon Board of Dentistry amended OAR 818-035-0072 by removing the “amalgam and composite” so that dental hygienists with a Restorative Functions Endorsement may use other restorative materials in addition to amalgam and composite with the exception of gold foil.
